Bethesda Baptist Church

Bethesda Baptist Church will welcome Faith Community Baptist Church to hold joint Sunday worship and Wednesday study services beginning June 3. The Faith Community Baptist Church has no permanent facility and the congregation of Bethesda Baptist Church has invited them to join us in our newly renovated sanctuary. Their pastor, Jason Montgomery, Pastor Warren and J.D. Warren will preach on Sunday morning, rotating their schedule about every four weeks. Both congregations will share a fellowship meal at noon and hold joint Bible classes from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. and conduct a study group together on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. Both congregations affirm the 1689 Baptist Confession.

J.D. Warren and Mindy Francisco will be married on June 15 at the church. J.D. is Pastor Warren's grandson. Mindy is the daughter of Mel and Charlotte Francisco of Greenville, Texas.

Bethesda Baptist Church seeks to exalt Christ alone by preaching Christ and Him crucified, risen and coming again. We endeavor to faithfully proclaim the gospel in order to evangelize and equip believers with essentials for obedience.

We stand firmly and unashamedly on the wonderful doctrines of grace, believing in the Providence of God in all that we do and avoiding all foolish superstitions and doctrines of man. "For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ..." (2 Peter 1:16)

Bethesda Baptist Church seeks the right answers. We know they are found in God’s inspired Word. Other seekers are welcome and encouraged to join us. “Come with us and we will do thee good.” Numbers 10:29

Bethesda Baptist Church seeks to associate with other churches of like faith, having a common confession. We seek a fellowship in which we may find encouragement, assistance, edification, and cooperative missions. "It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul." Acts 15:25.
